SAW VI
Saw VI...the latest edition to the Saw sequels, this similar to the other highly addicting Saw movies yet again leads you through a maze of twists and gore to leave your senses tingling, or maybe just your spine. Directer by Kevin Greutert, aka editor of all the previous Saws' has fit in exceptionally well in this massive jump to the directors chair and leads the film on nicely from Saw V.
Yes, Saw VI with the ever so haunting white doll mask puppeted by Jigsaw is back, and this time all it genuinely does come full circle and at the end leaves you just as amazed at the writing skills of Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton as it has done through out the entire series of films. In Saw V when you realized how clever the writing was, when at the end you realized all could have survived, well this is just another one of them times, with the added "Ohhhh" factor when you realise the game. The storyline is centred very much around one middle aged character in his quest for survival with a multitude of games along the way, some more gruesome results and some with added victims.
Saw VI for me although many suggest is the end as the game finally 'comes full circle', is not, I think there might be a few more surprises in store. However, to how many people liking, I will not know, as many think after the 6th round of game after bloody game (excuse the unintended pun), that it is just repetition, but yet again my thoughts are still with the ingenious way that the writers still manage to come up with cunning yet so very violent ways to entertain the audience. We lie in wait to see if the game ever actually does come 'full circle' as the film will show you the slight open-endedness that leave you wondering is that really the end of Jigsaw's games...
